Who Can Attend:

Our Journal With Me Program is geared toward women over the age of 21 who have experienced the loss of their mothers or mother figures. We understand that the grieving process can be challenging and unique for each individual, which is why our groups provide a safe and supportive environment for women to share their experiences, emotions, and thoughts.

To ensure that participants can fully engage in the group discussions and activities, we require that the loss of their mothers or mother figures occurred at least two years ago. This time frame allows individuals to have time to process their grief and gain a certain level of emotional stability before joining the support group.

What Do I Need To Participate:

  • A positive attitude

  • An open mind

  • A desire to allow your thoughts to flow and write what comes to mind

  • A quite location

  • Your favorite pen/pencil

  • A piece of paper, a journal, or you may use a digital journal like Miss Bee.

  • A highlighter, journal stickers, etc. if you need them.

How To Participate:

Pre-Register and Just drop in! 

Cost:

There is no cost to participate. However, feel free to donate to The Heart of Miss Bee, Inc. Your generosity and support allows us to print and ship free grief journals to women in need.

Where Can I Purchase a Journal?

There’s no requirement to purchase a journal. You may use what’s available to you at the time, a piece of paper, or “notes” on your mobile device. However, if you want to be more organized and keep all of your thoughts, feelings, aspirations, and emotions in one place, visit website and choose from a vast selection of award-winning blank journals or guided journals.
