Say Her Name Campaign | Mother’s Day 2025
At The Heart of Miss Bee, Inc., we believe that saying a mother’s name after she’s gone isn’t something to whisper or avoid—it’s a beautiful, courageous act of remembrance.
This Mother’s Day, we’re proud to launch our Say Her Name Campaign, a movement dedicated to honoring mothers who are no longer physically with us by encouraging grieving daughters to speak their names boldly, publicly, and with love.
Why this matters:
Too often, society encourages us to “move on” or “stay strong” in silence. But at The Heart of Miss Bee, we believe in keeping our mothers’ names, stories, and spirits alive. Saying her name is not a setback—it’s a sacred ritual, a way of carrying her forward.
What to expect:
This campaign will feature engaging, heartfelt posts across our platforms, sharing personal stories, reflections, and education around grief, remembrance, and the importance of acknowledgment. We want to spark conversation, create space for healing, and dismantle the discomfort around mother loss.
How to participate:
Women everywhere are encouraged to join us by sharing their mother’s name, a memory, a photo, or a story using the hashtag #SayHerNameWithLove. Whether it’s your first Mother’s Day without her or your fifteenth, your voice matters. Your grief is valid. And your love is eternal.
📅 Check this page daily leading up to Mother’s Day for our daily themes. Each day will offer a new opportunity to honor, remember, and connect.
Together, let’s show the world that saying her name is not the end of the story—it’s how we keep her legacy alive.
💛 Day 1 – Say Her Name Campaign
What does hearing your mom’s name mean to you?
For those of us who’ve lost our mothers, hearing her name spoken out loud can bring up everything — comfort, memories, love, and yes… sometimes, pain.
But saying her name keeps her close.
It reminds the world — and ourselves — that her life mattered, that she’s not forgotten, and that her legacy still lives on through us.
Today, I’ve included the names that were spoken during Say Her Name: A Mother’s Day Tribute for Grieving Hearts on Saturday, May 3rd.
Let’s say their names today.
Say them tomorrow.
Say them always — because she lived, she loved, and she mattered. 💛

Let’s keep honoring their names and nurturing our own healing — together.
