They Knew Her Too, Yet I Remember her Alone
There are people alive who remember your mother, and still, you have no one to remember her with.
They may have disappeared after the funeral. The relationship may no longer feel safe. So you carry the funny stories alone and wonder what moments of her are still living inside people you can no longer reach.
I know this ache. It is one reason this page exists.
