New Music Alert 🎶 Healing, Joy & a Summer Bop I Didn’t See Coming
I wanted you to hear this from me first.
I released new music and these songs were written by me, in real time, on my healing journey as a grieving daughter. I wanted songs that spoke to my heart honestly… songs that made room for all of it: the sadness, the remembering, the joy, the release.
Mama, I’m Outside was inspired by a realization I didn’t expect. That healing doesn’t always look like tears. Sometimes it looks like sunlight, movement, laughter, and letting yourself enjoy summer without guilt. This song is one of the first grief summer bops centered on mother loss a reminder that loving life again doesn’t mean loving your mama any less.
You Were Wrong About Me comes from a different kind of healing. It’s about breaking free from emotional abuse, from being told you’d never be enough or fully loved and discovering the kind of love that feels safe, honoring, and real. That song represents release, truth, and reclamation.
You can download and listen to my songs wherever you enjoy music. Please feel free to share them with anyone who might appreciate them, and use them in your videos on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube.
Yes… I started 2026 off with a bang.
You can find all of my music under my pseudonym: Music In Stilettos.
Thank you for walking this healing journey with me. It means more than you know.
With love,
Kinyatta 💛
